The Shada mountains, the highest summit in the Al Baha province, features rare rocky formations that attract adventurists as well as amateurs from around the region. 800 kilometers southwest of Riyadh and about 400 kilometers southeast of Jeddah, the mountains surrounded by several villages. The mountains have two main portions - Shada Al-Asfal ( lower Shada ) and Shada Al-Ala ( upper Shada ) both 2,400 meters above sea level. The beauty of Mount Shada lies in its natural and historic heritage, where a large number of Caves were found as a result of the exit of gases from the igneous rocks, which left large cavities good for human settlement. This location is a combination of mountains, natural caves, house, stunning surroundings view and a lot of natural elements. Nearest town: Al-Makhwah, which is about 24 km in distance. . . على بعد 800 كم جنوب غرب الرياض ونحو 400 كم جنوب شرق جدة تقع جبال شدا، أعلى قمة في منطقة الباحة، بتكويناتها الصخرية النادرة. تحيط الجبال الشاهقة بعض القرى لتضيف إلى الموقع جمالا ساحرا. يحتوي هذا الموقع على جزئين رئيسيين – شدا السفلى، وشدا العلا (شدا العليا) وكلاهما يقعان على ارتفاع 2400 م فوق سطح البحر. ويكمن جمال جبال شدا في تراثه الطبيعي والتاريخي، حيث تم العثور على عدد كبير من الكهوف التي تكوّنت نتيجة خروج الغازات من الصخور النارية والتي تركت تجاويف كبيرة كونت الكهوف التي اصبحت صالحة للاستيطان البشري فيما بعد. أقرب مدينة: المخواة، والتي تبعد حوالي 24 كم. أقرب مطار: مطار الملك سعود بن عبد العزيز، عقيق، والذي يبعد حوالي 90 كم عن قرية ذي عين. ثاني أقرب مطار: مطار أبها، الذي يبعد حوالي 290 كم.
